PPG’s aerospace business provides a structured RMA process for the return and repair of aircraft transparencies,  supporting efficient handling and resolution of transparency-related issues. 

Key Steps in the RMA Process

  1. Determine the Correct RMA Form above: Identify the appropriate RMA form based on the product's serial number and associated branding. 
  2. Complete the RMA Form: Fill out the RMA form with accurate details, including product serial number, description of the issue and contact information. 
  3. Submit the RMA Form: Submit the completed RMA form to the appropriate PPG facility as indicated on the form. 
  4. Await Authorization: PPG's Aerospace business will review the submitted RMA form and, if approved, issue an RMA number authorizing the return of the transparency product. 
  5. Return the Product: Ship the authorized product to the designated facility, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
  6. Repair or Replacement: Upon receipt, PPG's Aerospace business will assess the product and perform necessary repairs or replacements as per the warranty and service terms.
  7. Return of Repaired Product: Once repairs or replacements are completed, the product will be returned to the customer.
