HP Indigo Certified Substrates
We offer a range of PPG TESLIN® product grades that are certified for use in Hewlett Packard Indigo digital printers. Tested by Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), our synthetic papers and label material were checked for runnability, ink-transferability, blanket-substrate compatibility, blanket-temperature operating window and ink-substrate interaction/adhesion.
Teslin substrate grades certified for HP Indigo printer models 7000, 7500, 7600, 7800 and 7900:
Teslin SP substrate grade

Why is certification important?
HP Indigo certified substrates and media have undergone rigorous testing to ensure the substrate’s surface chemistry is compatible with HP’s ElectroInk technology.
HP ElectroInk technology directs the ink electronically using charged particles in the ink. Surface chemistry is critical because the paper and the ink need to attract and bond to each other.
Using paper that isn’t certified can result in poor ink adhesion and reduced productivity from paper jams.
